So i have a 94 ranger xlt auto and my bro has a 94 xlt manual and i want to find out about putting posi in both of them because we like to take them of road occasionally...now i know some trucks came stock from the factory this posi but what should i be looking for and what the best way(cheapest) to go about this. thanks...

pull the third member or entire rear end from a truck that has a limited slip, ford used the lsd, not posi, but they work similar to it.

This is what the posi/Limited Slip looks like. Its just a simple spring with some clutches. You will need the eniter "hub" as in the picture.

what year is your truck? figure out what axle you have.

we need the stats off your truck. 2wd or 4wd?

i have a 8.8 open i just looked up the code and its a 91 on the door sticker, if that helps.
