I just bought a 1998 Extended cab Ford Ranger to drive while I am rebuilding my 1995 Acura Legend LS 6-speed. I was looking for a small truck, but when I actually started to get serious, I realized that the Ranger was what I really wanted. Not an S-10. Not a Durango. The 98 I found was just what I was looking for, with the exception of it having an automatic when I was hoping for a manual. But like my brother said; "You have a manual in your project car". He's right. My Ranger has the doors that open up to the extended part, which I really like. It also has all power. Power windows and locks and cruise control (although the steering wheel controls have electrical tape covering them-another service manual need).
On the Acura Legend forum, they have posted a Service manual in PDF which has really saved my but in many, many occasion, especially when I am getting ready to replace the clutch, or the struts. I can go through the service manual and it helps immensly.
I really need to find one for my new 98 Ranger. Any direction you all can point me in?
Thanks a bunch!
Brett......
P.S; I am looking for other things, as well as some other questions, so I will be back for sure!
