Default 3.0 tensioner pulley?!

Hey guys,

Trying to fix the infamous squeaky belt problem but having trouble with the tensioner.

Every other ford engine I'f done belts on had the 3/8 hole on the tensioner arm.

This 2004 3.0 doesn't have anything. Am I missing something?

The 1987 2.3L Ranger I used to have would be silenced quickly and for a long time with a quick shot of silicone spray. The tensioner on yours should be self-adjusting. Just spray the belt with the motor running..stop spraying the moment the squealing stops. A spray can of silicone has lots of other uses..good to have around.
JBA s.s. headers&exhaust, K&N cold air intake, Bosch Iridium Plus 4 plugs, Royal Purple in motor, 5spd & diff.,Superchips programmer, axle girdle. Also have but yet to install KYB Gas-A-Just shocks and Belltech sway bars.
