Default Belt squeal

Ok so my uncle told me that the belt would squeal if it had rained recently/gotten wet but up until today I hadn't heard it. It'll be 6 months next month that I've had the truck. I made sure that it was infarct the belt and not the camshaft sensor/sync. The truck only has 43K miles I hope that wouldn't be going bad already!

Default Re: Belt squeal

Tensioner or serpentine belt would be my guess. I get a quick squeal out of my car's serpentine belt if I bring it to redline and slam it into second gear.
