Question Liquid build-up under passenger floor mat?

I have no idea what's causing it, and I couldn't tell you what the fluid that is building up is as I do not have a sense of smell (however it does appear to be for the most part, clear), but some fluid continually builds up underneath the passenger floor mat, and while it's a miniscule amount, I'm wondering what it is, and how do I stop it? As it does make the car feel muggy, and as my girlfriend would say, smell "not fresh".

Is the AC sweating under the glove box area?

It's probably your heater core went bad. I think this is the first technical question I've been able to answer, so I'm going to pat myself on the back!

I'll double check, but I don't think that's the liquid, it feels kind of oily, wouldn't the condensation on the AC be water?

How would I be able to tell? I mean, my heater works completely fine.

never had a heater core go out, but my logic says it would leak more if not flood when its turned to heat, because the hot coolant would all drain to there. im not sure if a crack xould cause only a portion of coolant to pour out of not. most ive heard of the floorboard was flooded. coolant usually has a color to it, and a sweet smell. maybe place a piece of paper to see if it indeed has a color.com

y'know...

... Taste it! (Seriously - if it's sweet, it's coolant; if it tastes like piss drop the GF off at a urologist )

There's supposed to be a drain that addresss the condensation from the A/C Evaporator, that drain ay be plugged.

FWIW take a hose to the outside of the ride, a failed windshield gasket will also allow water to "appear" on the floor after running down the inside of the firewall. Similar to th condensate drain, the cowl intake for fresh air should drain; if that's plugged, you'll have some water from there each time the world wets your truck.

Tasting is a fast way to either focus or eliminate your heater core (don't drink it or anything stupid lick your finger after touching it... Chicks dig that !)
