Exclamation fuel gauge

fuel gauge reads quater tank when truck is off but when i put in the key and turn it on the gauge drops flat dead....checked fuses all good and my engine temp is out also but everything eles on the cluster works....but both gauges that r out r on the bottom lower half of the cluster....anyone got any ideas?read sumthing about the fuel sendn unit but then wut... drop the tank or pull the bed?

what brand gas do you use is it shell...........you might try adding a bottle of Techron to the tank...........pulling the bed is the best way.....checck the ressitance on the temp gauge senosr or just repalce it for $15 and pray

Jus bought the truck a few weeks ago from a guy dad that jus passed away hit son was selln the truck...92 4bannger 69,000 truck is in mint shape one owner everythings perfect but the two gauges ...as fo gas i use wutevers cheapest and closest

wow nice truck!!!!! add some Techron to the tank.......see if that helps

check your hangers and shackles on the rear leasprings...........and f you have the 5 speed check the fluid?
