Anyone know what the weird scape-scrape noise is when i go over the rail road tracks or big dips or driveway bumps. I had another ranger that did this to so assume it's common. 2002 ranger reg.cab 2 wheel drive 4cyl stick Thanks!!

Could be your ball joints. I have to replace all four on mine.

If it is your ball joints, go with MOOG brand. They have greasable fittings and are lifetime warranty. I know at O'reillys if your new ones go out, you just bring them in and they just give you a new set (after they look up your info of course).

I've never had to replace mine again. I've always greased them about every other oil change.
