Default creaking noise at low speeds

when i start from a stop or sometimes over small bumps at low speeds it sounds like the suspension is creaking
not 100 percent sure of the origins of the creak (if front, back, left or right) im suffering from brokeassness right now so in two weeks ill be able to take it to the mechanics if i cant fix it if i cant.

it has droped about 30 to 40 degrees in a week though (was 70 last week now a high of 40) so my thoughts are the bushings on the leaf springs are creaking so should i try silicon spray or white lithium grease or what should i use on it to try to get the creaking to stop? and if its the front should where should i put a lubricant?

sorry for the poor paragraph construction...

all input welciomed, thanks in advance

You can try a spry but if it is a bushing creak, you migh thave limited success since a lot of them are blocked by brakets and such. My rear leafs creak but the only way to fix them would be to pull the bolts and grease them then. Too much work for a little creaking.

I hear the same creaking noise at low speeds on my 2002 Ranger Edge SuperCab. Since all other suspensions parts are OK, I'm beginning to suspect the noise is comming from the inconspicuous torsion bars. I'm still trying to find out from some expert if the back end of the bars have some kind of metal pad, metal bushing or holding part that is worn out. I wonder if applying some WD-40/grease at the ends or turning the keys or adjusting bolts just a bit could take care of it.

I've noticed that 9 times out of 10 on these trucks and explorers the suspension noises come from the non-greasable ball joints.. (cosidering Im in the south east/no rust/no salt) Mine has been changed to greasable.. if u suspect its a bushing try some Aerosol White Lithium Grease.. great mutli purpose, my doors open/close like a caddy.. lock cylinders, tailgate linkages and so on...
