I have the exact same problem. I removed the lock cylinder and believe that there should be a fitting on the and of the cylinder, Mine is missing and is not lying in the bottom of the door.
Did you get any help? I would appreciate any help/comments.
Thanks. John

The bar your referring to goes from the lock cylinder down to the door latch. I'm not sure how to explain how to attach it. The bottom snaps into a white plastic clip on the latch then a keeper swing up and locks it into place. It may be easier to attach it to the lock cylinder by removing the cylinder and swinging the rod up to where you can see it through the hole. There is a clip holing the cylinder in inside the door jam.

I finally went to dealer and got the piece of plastic that connects the rod to the door lock. You must remove lock and snap it on lock, put it back in the hole, and then attach rod to door lock via the white clip you installed. Cost 12.00 per and i bought 2 for both doors, seems like a piece that just gets old and breaks or bends. Thanks for the help. I love this forum.

My locks won't go up or down whether inside or out. They click a little bit and budge slightly, but they won't move on their own.
The plastic clip replacement seems much cheaper than replacing the actuator...how do I figure out which is the problem? Just bought a brand new OEM keyless entry thinking that was the problem...I programmed it to the truck correctly and same problem...good thing I needed a new one anyways, but now I need to diagnose the problem...

Watched a youtube video on how to replace the actuator and found a cheap replacement I can order:

I don't want to waste the $ if it is this other clip/lock bar problem...

Thoughts?

The link to the actuator part didn't seem to show up. Let me try again:

Cheap Actuator

My door locks won't turn anymore either. Tried graphite lubricant...could only open passenger side for like a minute directly after spraying lubricant...now nothing works anymore...I just want to be able to lock my cab again one way or another...
