Default fuel filler line?

I noticed when I did my body lift that my fuel filler line is cracked on both ends, and it leakes every time I fill my tank. I've checked at all my local auto parts stores and none of them sell 2.5 inch line. I called a dealership and they want $299.99 for a new one , I checked at the local junk yards and none of them have one for a 1989-92 ranger. Does anyone know if one from an 1983-88 will fit on a 1989, or where I can get 2.5 inch fuel line? thanks for any help.

It's about 2 feet long total with the top part being 2" i.d and the bottom part being 2.5" i.d, I was thinking I could probably piece somthing together using exhaust adapters and two sizes of fuel line. That's a lot better price than new, lol. I didn't even think of checking ebay, thanks.

I made another trip to the junk yard and found the bottom half of the line on a gas tank sitting in the bed of a ranger. I got that for $5 and about $8 worth of exhuast pipe and hose clamps from O'reilly auto parts, I think I can piece one good one together out of the parts I have. I'll post up the results tomarrow, thanks for the help.

well, the good news is it doesn't leak, the bad news is I need to re-do it a little bit. I made about an inch to long so it has a crimp in it and doesn't fill quit right.

I purchased a complete new assembly from ebay motors for under 100 bux. You will need your wheel base information located on the drv dr tag (exp WB125). Dealer wanted $437

good luck
