 Does the Check Gage light apply to low fuel?
I've heard that it does but my truck is almost on E now and it hasn't come on yet

I've seen that set up on Fords before, my mom's old '93 Cougar was like that as well, But I just wanted to make sure.

Ford wasn't smart enough to make separate indicators

Probably the coolest dash in a car I ever had was my 1990 Cougar with the FULL digital clusters, which oddly, were standard for 89's & 90's If something was wrong the indicator for that particular gauge would flash and beep every few seconds, I guess they were making up for a lack of a 5.0, lol.

hey guys im new i have yet to upload a pic of my 03 but my check gage light hasn't came on and my gas gage is in the red! lol how hard would it be to replace the check gage light?

my light doesnt come on when im low on fuel... ive ran outta gas a couple times and nothing has ever come on.. wish it did have a light though.. couldve saved me some walking...

The tach-less cluster dont have a check gauge/low fuel light, do you guys have that?

goes off with around 1 gal in your tank

eh, more like 2.5 gallons I think. I get about 40 miles before I'm in unmetered reserves.

wow... well i found the check gauge light and it came on when i was totally in the red. that'd be awesome if i could go another 30 or so miles on E! lol
