Skid plates (3)
Crusin the Internet & see that there are 3 skid plates listed for the FX4.
Name them please. I know one is for the transfer case. What are the other 2 protecting??

Ford called it "Fore/Mid/Aft protection" I believe. It's my understanding that all '10+ 4x4's got all 3. But I'm not 100% sure on that.

Looks like a factory skid to me...
anywho...here's another member's factory skid, photo courtesy of Power Ranger...   No the fox sticker isn't factory. lol. And here's one straight from the build-it-yourself thingy on Ford's website. Shows it's standard on Sport 4x4's. Optional on XLT Supercab 4x4. So you should have it on yours.

Hey Guys! I own a Black 2004 4X4 XLT Extended Cab. Ive had a blast getting to drive it all over the NW and test it on some amazing trails. Ive recently moved to Fort Collins Colorado to experience the drier climate. Im in the process of slowly converting it to do some better off roading.

these front skid plates are not skid plate more like deflecter plates lol for pebbles and small small rocks
