Funny Smell
Hi everyone,
Lately i have been smelling a plastic burning smell when i first get out after driving. It only lasts a few seconds and there isn't any visible smoke. I do know that I just changed the oil 2k ago so i don't thinking its that. Also no oil leakage. Any pinpointing i can do? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks !

Need a bit more info to go on here. The Ranger has had quite a few different engines over the years and the layout is different between them.
With that being said, maybe a vacuum line is contacting the exhaust or the EGR line. Also check your electrical connection on your blower motor resistor (passenger side below the blower motor). When I was changing mine out, I found that the connector had shorted due to corrosion and moisture and melted the plug.
