power steering?

hello all. i would greatly appreciate some knowledge on this subject.

i have a 97 ranger 4cyl 5speed that i was recently in an accident with. unfortunately my 2 year project truck got totaled a few weeks before completion. well i got a new ranger, 96 4cyl 5 speed. my new truck (the 96) does not have power steering...

so my question is, can i put the power steering from my 97 into my 96. and if so, how much of a pain in the ass is it going to be?
