I have a 2001 ford ranger edge 3.0 v6 manual and the truck shakes and vibrates at any speed. It's not horribly bad, I mean I can put a pop in the cup holder and it will not spill but the shaking and vibration is annoying and really bad.. The shifter and seats shake pretty badly when I am on the highway going 100km/h or more.

Do you guys have any suggestions on how to fix this?

get the wheels/tires rotated and balanced.

In addition to Smakes suggestion, check for lose wheel bearing. Before checking the fore mentioned, look at the drive shaft. I have had plastic bags hit the exhaust and the stick to the drive shaft and create the same problem you described. Maybe you through a weight of the drive shaft?

ok so I changed the tire that was making the shaking problem but I still hear a kind of whining or rough noise when I slow down. I'm assuming that is a wheel bearing problem..? I was also wondering where I can find the pcv valve? I have searched and I think I found it near the firewarll on the drivers side down behind the manifold. But it looks like there are electrical wires coming out of it and I'm not sure cause I can't get my hands on it. Anyways of someone could get me a pic of exactly where it is or describe it that would be awesome.
