Replacing Brake Fluid Syntheic?

i have a 99 ranger, i wanna replace the brake fluid threw out the whole system. my question is there any harm if i use the synthetic brake fluid? im not sure if the fluid in my truck has ever been replaced. or should i use the regular brake fluid.

Don't use the synthetic brake fluid. The recomended fluid, DOT 3, is compatible with all of the seals and the ABS system. DOT 4 is okay too, and has a higher temperature specification. The synthetic will give you a spongy feeling pedal, and may cause damage to your seals.
