What electrical connections did you have to disconnect

Hey man, You seem very knowledgeable about this stuff, so I was wondering; how exactly do I re install the steering wheel? I am almost done with the heater core project and I just need to get that back in... will I need the puller?

you do not need a puller. you can remove the entire steering column/wheel without taking the wheel off. there are 4 nuts under the dash, and then one bolt that runs through the shaft right at the fire wall. whatever you do, DO NOT turn the wheel while the steering column is disconnected. this will almost positively result in a broken clock spring.

if you have removed the wheel already, it is splined and will only go on one way. once you slide it down what you can, just put the bolt back in.

I have a 02 ranger and am in the middle of the heater core nightmare, everything is out but the bolt above the transmission i am having a hard time locating it. Any help or pictures would be great. thanks in advance.

I am getting ready to replace my heater core. How do I drop the steering column. Any help would be appriciated. I have a good idea on how to drop the dash form videos posted on youtube but not sure on the steering column.
