Hey guys on my right front wheel there is major side to side play in the rack and pinion. and its wobbling around curves. i got freaked out and stopped driving it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

our you sure its the rack and not an inner or outer tie rod end?

I agree i bet it is the inner tierod. it is under the bellow. I have not replaced mine but i read all about it. the manuals say you need a special tool but all you need is a pipe wrench to unbolt it. remove the outer and inner together and then match them up so the new one is the exact same length. then reinstall......ONLY BUY GOOD PARTS FOR THIS JOB. you might want to do inner and outer on both sides.....

i was going to get two new tie rods funds was low i only got one. its goin on when i get out of physics. i hate driving a chevy
