Basically when I slam my brakes my truck just slows to a stop. This really concerns me because I came about an inch away from rear ending someone today. Please let me know what I can do to fix this problem

Check your brake pad thickness, if they're fine, bleed your lines

also check your rotors for uneven wear also adjust your rear brakes if needed (if you have the truck up in the air and can easly turn the rear tires then you need to adjust your drum pads) and if that all checks out bleed your brakes and if it still dosent brake properly check for kinks in lines and mabye small leaks

What does bleeding your breaks mean? I probably need to do that! lol.
