You first have to determine if voltage is getting to the lock motor. If you don't have a test light now it the time to get one.
Assuming you have a good fuse - If voltage gets to the lock motor, the motor is bad. If no voltage gets to the lock motor the switch is bad. Before buying a new switch, make certain voltage gets to the switch because wiring can be cut somewhere. But try the lock motor first as it's the most likely.
