Default Thumping sound and feeling from take off

I have drove several rangers and some of them have a thumping sound when taking off from a stop light or sign and you can feel it kinda slip when taking off anybody know what this is.

Mine does that a little, its double lifted and i am looking into the driveshaft, its not causing any problems that I know of though!

its probably the slip yoke in the rear driveshaft. its a common issue with these trucks but you can grease it and it will help. do a search in the drivetrain section for "slip yoke" and you will find a few threads about this with some more useful info.

I had this problem and had mechanics say "they all do that", I googled it and got some detailed info with pictures. I tried it and it worked, took 15 minutes.

Essentually what I did was, the front end of the drive shaft there is a rubber boot that I removed the band clamp on the fat end, then slid the boot back far enough to spray 3M White Lythium Grease inside the boot. I put the boot back in place and secured it with a zap strap and it fixed the problem. Its been a week no and still quiet.
