Question 2004 Ford Ranger XLT antilock brake problem

I have a 2004 XLT that every time the wheel is turned to the right and you come to a stop the antilock kick in for the last second when you come to a stop. It seems to be getting worse and worse, as in happening more often. I have had both front wheels off a few times now, the breaks aren’t binding as far as I can tell. Any ideas?

is youre truck a 4x4?

oh yeah i forgot to add that it is a 4 x 4, i chcekd one of the half shafts and it wasn't lose like the cv joint shot (like i have seen in the past), but i have to get it up on a jack on check the otehr side yet... i just moved so everything in everywhere, still need to find all my tools

i would guess its a wheel bearing/ hub assembly. have you noticed any noise like a growl or anything at lower speeds? when the hub assemblys go bad they can make the ABS sensor freak out because the sensor is part of the hub. have you jacked it up and checked for play in the wheel bearings/ hub assembly?

Ever find the solution to your abs prob? I'm experiencing the same now thing with my truck. Any help would be really appreciated!!
