Hi , i have a 2004 04 plate 2.5 td manual ranger .
The RFW light has come on and will not go out !

We have tried putting in and out of high and low box with no difference.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

We have tested the sensor and all seems ok ???!!

Not sure what the most common fault is. All I can tell you is to work through the list above adn hopefully you'll get luck y and figure it out.

Hi Karmas22, did you ever found the solution to the RFW light? I've got a 2004 Ford Ranger 4000 V6 XLT 4WD bakkie in South Africa and my bakkie does exactly the same, i had it in 4x4 and when I tried switching out it did, but the RFW light does not want to switch off and since then my 4x4 doesn't want to engage either.

Hi ranger5572, do you maybe have the workshop manual for the a 2004 Ford Ranger bakkie? if so, would you mind badly sending it to me? I'm desperate to get one or two things fixed on my bakkie, but I like working on it myself, but haven't been able to find a workshop manual. i've the a 2004 Ford Ranger 4000 V6 4wd. thank you in advance
