Default Clutch and break problems

I have a 96 ranger that has been sitting for a while. To start off, when you press the clutch In, it sometimes does not come back up. But if the clutch sticks and you hit the break, the clutch comes back up. Any idea what that could be? And also, my driver side is squealing when I start moving at all. I need help diagnosing these problems

I don’t know what to tell you on that one, on my 95’ ranger I had the opposite problem.
If I pushed the brake all the way down then I had to push the clutch in order to release the brake.
Must be some sort of link between the two.

Thanks for the info. It is a very strange thing. This is new as it is my first car

Not sure if you fixed it yet but usually when the pedals stick it is because you have air in the system. The brakes are pretty straight forward. The clutch bleed on rangers are tricky due to the setup. If you are interested in trying this I can break the process down for you.
