Default Dashboard Trim

So I bought this truck off my dad cause he just wanted to get rid of it and believe me when I say I know absolutely nothing about trucks. I want to swap the radio out with a more modern one and I am using this link as a guide : https://www.carstereoremoval.com/htm...onco87_91P.htm

My dash look exactly the same but my question is, is there any screws I need to remove to take the actual trim off? When I try to pry open the sides, it feels like it going to brake/snap off and I just stop.

Just follow that guide. When you use those prong things to take out the radio. pull them towards you and to the doors. The radio bezel should be the 2 screws then just pop off.

If you have difficulty using those 2 little tools for releasing just the Radio, then do what I do. Take out the 2 vertical screws in the Bezel and just pop the bezel off with the radio still installed. The Bezel will pull the Radio out too and then you can more easily remove the Radio Wire Connectors from the back of the radio. Then just use your fingers to release the retaining tabs from the radio and the radio will then come off the bezel.

My truck doesn't need the radio tools. I'm pretty sure the whole radio is just held in with a couple screws once you get the bezel off, but im scared im going to brake the bezel or something by prying it off. I'm just wondering if there is any hidden screws for the bezel to come out? Or is it maybe because it's just hard to pry off cause its 30 years old?
