Default Blend Door Actuator Access

I've got a quick question for you guys. I'm going to replace my blend door actuator this weekend and I'm wondering about being able to remove it without tearing anything up. I understand there might be a fastener on the back of the actuator that I won't have access to. Does this require prying the actuator out and damaging the heater box? This in turn would not allow the new actuator to be secured at the back. My Ranger is an '08. Anyone know if there is a fastener on an '08 that is hidden? Thanks in advance.

There are 4 small bolts and they are ALL accessible by simply removing the glove box (been a while since I did one but i think they are 5.5mm). They are a little hard to get at and require squeezing your hand and being creative but in no way are they inaccessible or beyond the capability of an average joe to remove. Do not try to break or pry it or you will be ripping your entire dash out to replace the hvac box.

FYI: The screws are 8mm heads x 18mm long and course thread. There are two in the front and one in the right rear. The left rear is an alignment dowel pin. The two front aren't bad but the rear is difficult. The right rear required cutting an old offset wrench down to 1 1/2" long. I then drilled a hole and attached a string to the end. This allowed me to pull the tool out the dozen times I dropped it. Project went well and climate control works hot to cold again.

Thanks
