Post Parking Brake Light Issue

Another random issue with my truck that has me stumped. While driving, if I hit a bump, pothole, or drive over speed bumps my parking brake light in the cluster comes on for a second or two and then turns off. I am one of those people who use the parking brake everywhere I go, so I know it gets quite a bit of use and it definitely still works. But the cable still looks good, the release works fine, it doesn't feel like the brake is dragging at either low or higher speeds, and the light comes on when the brake is engaged and turns off when I release it. Possibly a bad sensor?
Any help is appreciated!
