Default Front driveshaft question

So I went out to the beach after replacing my transfer case fluid hoping that it would fix my 4wd not working because when I had checked the fluid, it was super low. Well when i got to the beach, the 4hi and 4Lo light would come on when I tried engaging but wouldn’t engage. So I went down there and noticed my front driveshaft spins super easy. But my rear driveshaft doesnt. Is the front driveshaft supposed to move that easy? Isnt it supposed to lock with the front axle and rear transfer case?

Sounds like the electric shift motor on your transfer case isn't functioning properly. You could try tapping the electric motor after selecting 4x4 HIGH, with the truck in park, crawl under and tap it lightly. Don't get carried away tapping it, and be sure it's in park.

Thank you! Ill try it out, my front end hums at about 30-40mph as well. Would bad wheel bearings affect my 4wd hub?
