Default What is this?

I’ve noticed this little “cooler” looking thing under my 2000 Ford ranger engine looks as if it’s been leaking or something around it. What is this part? I wasnt able to find it in my manual.

Could be the trans cooler or a possible power steering cooler by looking at those fittings. Generally I've not seen a trans cooler with high pressure fittings but I'm sure someone else will clarify that. Follow the lines, see where they trace too.. easiest way to learn and be able to diagnose things when no one else's around.
