Anti Theft Problem

I have a 2000 and if the theft and check engine light are flashing, the truck won't start. I've taken it to a dealership several times, they reprogramed either the keys or the column and that didn't work, then they put in a new battery and that didn't work either. It was shutting off while I was driving it or sometimes, the times when the lights were flashing, that it wouldn't start at all. I took it back to the dealership and the guy said he drove it, let it sit for a while, and drove it again and couldn't find a problem, that everything I had said was happening didn't happen to him. My dad has checked grounds and the piece under the passenger airbag.

Anybody else ever have this problem or know what it could possibly be?

Sounds like your ECM is shot.
