Default Rear lift on superlifted truck

Hello all. I have a 2000 Ranger XLT 4x4 with a 4" Superlift and a 3" body lift. It's also coilovers converted. My lift setup in the back is FR34S skyjacker leafs right on the axle tube with Belltech 6400 shackles. It's sits lower in the back than the front, and either the leafs or the shackles are screwing up the wheelbase.

Long story short, I want to change the rear lift setup and I'm wondering what I should look into. I'll post a pic of the wheelbase issue. The axle sits further forward than rearward. Thanks in advance.

+1. Function over form means the axle needs to be a bit forward a under static load so that when suspension compresses the tires are less likely to rub. Also when fully extended you don't want to have your driveline separate.

The springs are longer than the stock springs because of the arch but isn't the spring limited by how much the shackle can swing? It's a stock shackle so I don't know that I understand how the spring could compress anymore without having a longer shackle on to pivot further. As the arch flattens out the length of the spring is controlled by the 2 ends ability to move away from each other. As your spring lengthens the solid mount point is your pivot so the axle can only move up down and rearward on compression and move forward when it is in "droop". The best information I've come across that may help answer any additional "how, why" questions is here:

The axle is shifted forward because of the longer shackles. Going back to a stock shackle should center the axle.

To make up the difference in height, you can do a lift block, add leafs to your leaf pack, or go to a leaf pack with a higher arch (like the FR36S).
