1987 dies and won't turn on
Long story short I have a 1987 2.3L that dies when I'm driving it at random. It also sometimes dies after it's been sitting out in the parking lot while I'm at work. When I turn the key the engine does turn over , but never turns on. However when I get a jump it turns on just fine. It's not battery or alternator. I'm starting by installing a new ignition module , and if the problem persists I'll move onto the fuel pump. Any other recommendations ? Something else that could be wrong or somewhere else I should look at ? Thanks in advance

To be clearer , it'll die while driving so I'll pull over while it rolls and then I crank it and it turns over but not on. So I have to wait maybe 2-3 minutes sitting there with my hazards on until It finally turns on. When it dies at a parking lot after it's been sitting, that's when I need a jump
