Check engine light P0171
Hey guys this is my first post on the forums and I'm hoping you all can help me out. I'm going to start school in a couple months and will be driving 500+ miles/week so I'm looking to finally address some issues my truck has had. I guess I'll just list them below...
1. Check engine light shows error P0171...engine running too lean. I've looked it up and it seems like it's down to either the MAF or the IAC valve. The truck runs fine except after she gets warmed up the truck will idle really rough and low. Sometimes it even seems like the truck is lacking some power (I know what you're thinking power out of 2.3 HAHA) but it's a noticeable difference when taking off. It's not always like that though. Do any of you know which one it could be or is it hard to tell?.
2. The A/C blows cold. I just got it refilled. But there's little to no air flow out of the driver side vent closest to the door. No idea what that could be.
3. It's time for a new clutch. Any recommendations? I'm not really much of a mechanic but I'm starting to get more into it all. Just searching on the internet there are a lot of different options. Don't want to spend too much but don't want a POS either.
4. Also are there any things to improve the MPG? I've got stock size tires no lift of any kind. It was my dads truck that I'm now using as a commuter for now. I know the 2.3 is decent. But I'm sure it can be better. I want to get all these things fixed and get all new fluids in her. After that I hope it runs a lot better.
Thanks for any help!!
