Default Question about replacing window regulators in a 1995 Ranger

Okay so this is about a 1995 Ford Ranger 2 wheel drive extra cab. The window motors are really really slow, in fact, the driver's side is so bad I have to help it back up becuz it won't roll up on its own. Obviously they need to be replaced. I know somebody who has a Mercury Mountaineer 1998 and he's going to be scrapping it soon and wanted to know if I need any parts off of it. I was wondering if the window motor or the whole regulator themselves would work. he said he would take them out and give them to me for 5 bucks a peace.

So, does anybody know if I can use them or make them work or do I have to go by Ranger motors from a junkyard?
