99 Ford Ranger 3.0 issue need help plz
Hello everyone first of all, I have a 99 Ford Ranger 3.0 2wd, issue im tackling right now is a code p0117 ECT circuit issue. Ive replace thed ECT sensor next to the thermostat and the one next to the radiator fan and im still getting the code. Has anyone had this issue before?
The truck hesitates to start as well when its cold. Ive replace the spark plugs with oem iridium spark plugs and the cables, replaced the serpentine belt, cleaned out the IAC with Carb cleaner, cleaned the short ram intake with K&N cleaner and placed back in the truck. Ive read the forums and i think its a vacuum issue so i think ill have to track all the hoses.
AC was working yesterday and out of the blue it stopped blowing cold air. Checked all the fuses to see if that was the issue and I dont have a blown fuse. Checked the vacuum lines inside the cabine to make sure anything didnt come un-done and everything in the cabin seems to be ok. The AC system blows hot air when i change the temperature it just doesnt blow cold air. I took it to Meineke and they check to make sure the tank had fluid in it and its fine. Not sure how to check the relays to see if thats the issue and not sure where to look for the relay for the ac system (not sure if that could be the issue). Any one had a similar problem with this before?
The ECL doesnt trigger any other codes except for the p0117 code.
Appreciate any help anyone can provide, Ive been trying to figure out this issue for the past 4 days and nothing. Thanks all.
