Broken mixing door
I have a 98 Ranger. I have confirmed that the mixing door is broken or stuck closed. I am hoping someone knows a way of manual opening the door so I can get by for the summer and avoid all the labor of getting to it to fix it properly.

remove the parts for under the hood, and then you can pull it open or push it closed

yes, there is a guy selling a kit on ebay to fix that problem, I don;t know if it works or not I never had that issue
