Default DC Outlet?

So I search some threads but couldn't find an answer for my inquiry, so I am hoping one of you might know.

In my 2011 XLT 2WD, the passenger side outlet adapter's outer casing has cracked and at least twice when pushing something into the outlet to power up or charge, I have actually managed to push the outlet inward behind the radio bezel. I know how to get to it and replace it but I can find the damn part on any Autozone or Advance Auto website I visit.

Does this outlet adapter have a specific name, or is it simply called a 12 v outlet? Does anyone know exactly where I can get this part so I can replace it?

Thanks!

Thanks for that. I had found some universal ones online and even went by a few auto part stores but the associate at one of them said they only carried universal ones in stock and that if I wanted a true replacement that I may have to...... gasp!..... contact the dealership. I'll weigh my options this week and see what happens. In the mean time, I'll keep searching online and see if I can strike gold and find one for a reasonable price.

Why not go to a junkyard?

The junkyard is a possibility. There is a Pull-A-Part in Charlotte, NC so I may start there this coming weekend first, then if that bust, proceed another route.

If I am understanding correctly, you need the metal DC plug? If so, you just need to find a Ranger

I took a picture to give a better explanation of what I'm dealing with. The outer black casing has cracked, and so if I push a charger into the socket too hard, it pushes the whole socket back behind the bezel. The socket still carries and operates a charge just fine. I'm not sure if I can just get a new casing or if I will have to get a whole new socket and swap them out.
