So the other day my brake pedal went to the floor on start-up, and I found it was because I have a leak in the line on the drivers side near the rear tire. I am not familiar with replacing brake lines so I came here for some help. The line is pretty rusted, so I think I might have to replace the whole thing. Was wondering if anyone had some advice or tips on where to start from.

best to replace it as one length if possible - if so you would need a double flare tool and line bending tool also as it might be hard to find a replacement line long enough - you can also piece it together with a couple of prefab sections - ive done this but may not pass safety inspection - can be a bitch of a job and while your at it better check the other brake lines too - ive had brake lines fail as i was getting off the highway it really sucks
