Default Check Engine Light

Alright yesterday the check engine light came on and I took it to auto zone, it came up with P0453 which is saying the fuel take pressure sensor is defective.

The question is where would this sensor be located on my truck and any ideas on the price, it would seem its a dealer part.

Thanks.

Check out http://www.newfordparts.com/. They have diagrams and prices that are generally better than the dealer.

Nice, thanks for the site I'm all for cheaper dealer parts. I also found the FPS Sensor, its a small box on top of the fuel assembly and I just replaced the entire assembly, I have a extra sensor on the old unit I can stick on.

I'm going to look into getting a new one under the new assembly warranty.

I had my spark plugs and wires done today along with the ball joints, and the check engine light won't turn off now. I'll ask the mechanic about it tomorrow but I wanted to see what you guys had to say.
