Default Bell Removal to get to the Fan

Please help me as I don't know what to do anymore. I am in Chicago and it is in the low 18s while I have to get my truck going.
I have issues with the fan clutch. Saw online how to remove the fan clutch, but I am facing an issue of not being able to remove the bell which is on top of the shaft. I removed the serpentine belt which also fits over the bell, which also turns the fan, and in my case it isn't a pulley anf looks more like a bell, that I can't get off. I need to fit behind a specialized wranch to hold the shaft in place while another wrench would allow me get in the front (easy) to remove the fan.
The bell is got 4 holes, I guess because 4 screws are holding it in place and there is no room to fit in the sockets through the hole and when I do there is no way to see what am I trying to do or how to put on the socket. The crank turns left and right. I am not sure if I am on the right track but would love some assistance please asap.

How did you get a 2000 Ranger with a DOHC 2.3 engine?

When I did my water pump I used a pair of vice grips to hold it while I got the bolts out. You could try that, or use two sockets/ratchets.

One to hold it steady and one to loosen.

Then when you get to the last bolt you can't do that, try jamming a screwdriver in the hole where a bolt belongs and unscrew the last.

try using one of the belt style oil filter wrenches to hold the pulley as you turn the fan off the shaft I've done that a few times on other projects

last resort Shade tree method...leave the belt installed, get a friend to hold the pulley, with a SMALL hammer and cold chisel, tap the chisel sideways "against" any of the six "shoulders" of the
bolt. Chisel may bite in a little, but will usually be enough to break bolt loose. Not sure if it is left hand or right hand thread, but it is sometimes advertised near or on the fan shroud.
Use hammer and chisel CAREFULLY, so not to damage anything close by. SMALL TAPS
Not pretty, but will work if you're careful.

Not sure. Is that unusual? A guy was selling it after his dad passed away. It is either 00 or 01.

Guys I need to thank everyone here. I did figure it out. All those methods would probably have worked but I saw a guy on you tube tie a chain to his pulley and so I tried that and screwed the chain to a 2x4 above my head that supports the structure of thr garage and almost tore the whole thing down and the garage door. Broke the Bug Reflector and could have done more harm had I continued clockwise to unscrew this thing. It took me 2 days to find on the internet that the pulley shouldn't move and it is crazy that they couldn't just make a square whole so that you can hold it in place with a standard wranch. I really thought the pulley had to come off to unscrew the fan. Then found some more info that it turns counter clockwise and that you have to hold it in place. I made the tool in 20min, got some bolts and worked better than any tool I could have imagined. Nothing substitutes the joy getting it done yourself.
