Blend door actuator.

Open the glove box, and look behind it. There's like 5 or so wires running into a little box. On the left side. 3 screws holding it in, you may need an extension for the screw on the back, and two on the front.

$45 Dorman part on Amazon and you're good to go.

Here's some reference pics

Either the little gears will bind up or the little electric motor will burn out. This actuator controls which temperature air is flowing into the cabin. When the unit fails, it will stay on heat or AC. Just be really patient with the screw on the back, it's pretty difficult to capture.

No problem man, happy to help. Once you remove it, plug it in and turn your air temp from hot to cold and see if the little rotating shaft moves or the motor activates. You may have to turn the key on, idk.

(The middle knob controls the blend door actuator)

I took mine apart to see if I could fix it, I got the gears to turn but the motor would only turn them one way and then not work again so I just said screw it and bought a new one. Been working fine ever since. It's lasted maybe 2 years or so.

You have to use a small ratchet and a small extension. Probably like a 1-3" extension. It's tricky but you can do it.
