Good Locksmith can cut keys on the spot, but have no idea of what it cost in your area.

I had a set done on a 87 Mustang I bought years back, guy did them while I stood there.

How about the door on the other side of the truck.

Pull the steering colum and replace it with one thst has a key from a parts truck or scrap yard. Easy to do on a gen 2 dash.

I think I'm missing something here, did you drill into the ignition cylinder?

Well I'm contemplating just throwing a switch panel in it at this point because I'm cheap and drilled to deep on the ignition cylinder anyone see a major problem with it?

If it was me I would bite the bullet and replace the cylinder with an OEM.

It's not the cost of the cylinder those aren't expensive it's the time and money I'm gonna spend trying to replace the entire column because I drilled to deep it's only a $500 ranger I'm gonna drive it until I feel a little more comfortable to buy a new full size next year then it's going to become a dune and trail bomb so the switch panel doesn't bother me
