Default Royal Purple Lubes

Does anyone use this stuff? I switched to synthetic motor oil when I bought our trailer and was amazed at the difference. Wondering if it will make more of a difference.

I use amsoil high performance and love it. Lasts longer and mpg is better. Costs more but ends up the same because of how much longer it lasts.

I have used Mobil1 synthetic since 93. I was a little skeptical to spend the extra $$ for it. But a older friend of mine told me to try it & if my MPG didn't increase that he would pay for the oil. So I tried it & was surprised to get 2-3MPG better.
So I'm thinking to myself if an oil can lubricate so well that it increases the MPG, then it has to be dam good stuff.

Needless to say I have been running it in everything I own since.
They say you can leave it in longer but I still change mine every 3000 miles but I am pretty anal when it comes to my vehicles.

You know, Mobil1 is no longer full synthetic? It's a synthetic blend. And I've had it gum up a motor before.

Personally, I use Royal Purple motor oil, but I prefer AmsOils gear oil for the axle and tranny. since they are a long service life component, I like to get the good stuff, and I noticed no change with the amsiol motor oil over RP, and still change at 5000 miles, just 'cause I'm anal like that.

I swear by RP. I used it in my rear end, (8.8 with the Torsen Limited-slip) and noticed a wonderful increase in performance and now use it as my motor oil. I saw an immediate increase in performance in my truck. I change it regularly at 5000 miles due to my wheeling is predominately beach and deep sand and the very hot and abusive atmosphere that is Corpus Christi, Tx. Though I've taken RP past 7500 miles and it looked like it was almost time to be changed. I just prefer not to push it so far.

I just changed my oil and I am trying royal purple this time. There may be a slight change in power but we will see what happens with mpg.

i use Delo 10w15, and its been used in my truck a long time.
current miles : 395,100 miles
my uncles friend was talking to my uncle about research they do in a chevron lab. he said they came to the conclusion that delo is the best by quite a large margin. my uncle said the guy will never use any other oil in his car. when he brings his car to the dealer for oil changes, he said he brings delo cuz the stuff they used was craaaaap.
