I did a quick search and it didn't really look like anybody had mentioned it so I will. Local shop here in Phoenix is making a nice Ford 8.8 diff skid plate with a yoke protector.

They mainly made it for jeepers doing a ford 8.8 swap which is quite common, but it will obviously fit any ford 8.8 regardless of the vehicle.

Worth looking at if you spend a lot of time on the rocks.
