Default water pump question

Mr Tire says my water pump is leaking. I know my radiator was leaking very bad. just got a new radiator put in, and the coolant was topped off days ago.

checked the radiator coolant level, and the coolant is still full. this must mean my water pump is not leaking all that badly? so do I need to replace a leaky water pump if its not leaking bad, or can I wait?

thoughts?

Did you check the over flow bottle or the radiator itself? Go by the level in the rad not the overflow bottle. A leaking water pump is nothing you want to mess with

so, if the water pump is only leaking a little, can replacing it wait? I dont have the money yet, thats the only reason I would want to wait.

Don't wait because you don't know when the pump or seal will fail completely.

Go rent a cooling system pressure tester from your local auto parts store and pump your system up to 15 psi and let it sit for 30 mins - hour. If it stays at 15 you are good, but if it drops look for leaks. Look around the weep hole in the water pump.
