I am new here! I just bought a ford ranger from a little old lady I know for $1200. It runs really well, 125,000 miles on it. I know it is a 1998 xlt. But other than that, I don't know what type of motor I have it it. How can I find this out? She lost the manual for it.

look under the hood for the emission sticker. That will tell you right there
