i feel like a *******. i was cutting my rear sway bar off today and just knicked this part with my grinding blade. made a small hole in it and was leaking brake fluid very slowly, so i patched it up for now but want to get a new one. can u tell me the name of this part and the process to replace it? thanks in advance...

you also answered your own question by stating "it was leaking brake fluid" too.....

Honestly, I wouldn't drive much the way it is now. You say it leaks slowly without any brake pressure....imagine it when the brakes pressed....

To fix, get a length of pre-flared, pre-fitting installed chunk of brake line from the hardware store, bent it up, install it on the driver side of the axle. Then obviously bleed brakes. This is all assuming those pre-made lines have the correct fittings on them.

Why did you feel the need to take a grinder under there to remove a sway bar in the first place?? They DO unbolt after all....

It's going to leak, don't get brake fluid on your paint. It will eat it. And same question as Shane
