I need to change my air filter in my truck and i was thinking of going with just the cone KnN air filter. Will i notice any difference with using that one?

The guy at checker auto parts said it would make the same difference as adding a cold air intake so no not really noticeable i went down that same road

I was thinking of replacing my stock with a K & N but not putting the cover back on. Do I need the cover, or will it mess the computer up?

Why would you leave the cover off? Just put it back on.

I was going to get a reusable filter, but not the same size, the cover would not fit over it.
