Default Not for weak stomachs

So I rebuilt my drums did plugs & wires & oil & sea foam in the gas and vacuum lines & replaced the headlights and now it seems as though I need at least one new motor mount and a passenger side tie rod & new tires and wheels the rangers slowly falling apart & I'm attempting to fix it but now to the question would you suggest I just take it to a shop & let them do the mounts & tie rod & alignment ?

Depends on your knowledge, time available, and funds on hand. To me, time is money and I'm not rich but also not mechanical. So, a shop would get my business. If you have the know-how, why not save the labor and do most the work yourself?

You can get the alignment pretty close your self by matching how many threads you used on the old tie rods. I did this when I did my spindle lift and swapped out a tie rod and ran with it for 2 days before getting an alignment

That's the thing I understand that the tie rod replacement is easy but since I'm most likely taking it to a shop for the motor mounts it shouldn't cost much more for the tie rod replacement would it ?

I can prove to you that if you pay to fix your car it would be cheaper to buy a new vehicle.

You can buy a new 4 banger Tacoma for 16k put 3k down (your truck). Pay $220 a month for 5 years. Your repairs will be minimal over the 5 years and at the end the truck might have 70k on it and will still be worth $8,000, or you could drive it for the next 5 years for minimal $$$. You might save money on gas too!

Suck it up and fix it yourself, then buy the Tacoma like I said. The money you save on gas will cover the payment! Some of us like fixing our cars, you don't sound like you do (nothing wrong with that )

Other then replacing the faulty timing chains on your engine there are no other repairs that are overly difficult. Tierods are a poc with the tool!
