Unhappy Rattling when shifting into gears stops when I let off clutch in neutral

So today I noticed when backing out of a parking space a rattling or something like loose metal clanging around? When I shifted into first I still noticed it, only until I got into the upper gears did I not notice it. If I push in the clutch it will stay rattling, but as soon as I let OFF the clutch it stops. If I shift into ANY gear including reverse, it starts again...any clue what it is? Google was no help at all...
